Forward Cities is thrilled to introduce the seven entrepreneurs selected for the inaugural LevTech Accelerator cohort, which recently launched on April 15, 2025.

Chosen from a competitive pool of over 50 applicants, these business owners stood out for their vision and readiness to integrate technology to grow and streamline their operations. Designed specifically for busy entrepreneurs who want to adopt technology, improve efficiency, and expand their market reach, LevTech offers a hybrid experience that blends in-person, virtual, and asynchronous learning to provide maximum flexibility while delivering hands-on support.

The LevTech Accelerator launched the inaugural cohort on April 15, 2025.

Over the next four months, the inaugural cohort will continue to participate in hands-on training, expert coaching, peer learning, and real-world experimentation—all designed to help them implement a custom technology solution for their business.

We are excited to partner with Knox St. Studios to facilitate the LevTech Accelerator and welcome Richard Brown, Knox St. Studios’ Director, Tech Careers as the program’s Instructor.

"We at Knox Street Studios are thrilled to be a part of the LevTech Accelerator Program, and I'm personally excited to work with these promising businesses to leverage technology for sustainable growth. Through meaningful conversations and targeted support, we're helping Durham entrepreneurs scale their operations while maintaining their roots in our city's rich history,” shares Richard. “ Our mission is clear: to demonstrate that small businesses based in Durham, North Carolina can absolutely compete on both national and international levels, bridging our community's storied past with a technology-empowered future."

Each participant will also receive a $3,000 award to support their tech implementation and 20 Learn-to-Earn credits to continue investing in their growth.
