Enriching Ecosystems Through Inclusivity

Recognized from September 15 to October 15, Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to celebrate Hispanic and Latinx contributions, culture, and traditions. As the past few years have continued to see an immense amount of growth in population, home-ownership, and entrepreneurship for the Hispanic community not only in Durham, but across the Triangle and North Carolina as a whole, this year’s theme, "Unidos: Inclusivity for a Stronger Nation", is both timely and fitting.

Recognizing and meeting the needs of all groups of entrepreneurs in a community only serves to enrich and strengthen it. Durham boasts numerous organizations whose focus is to empower Hispanic entrepreneurs, strengthen the community through trust-building, and provide connections to resources. Learn about some of these organizations here

SCN Fall Summit

The 2022 SCN Fall Summit, organized by HSC Next, will take place in the historic Stockyards of Fort Worth, Texas October 17-19. Over the course of 2.5 days, the Summit Host team will showcase some of Fort Worth’s strengths, highlighting how these strengths can translate to a nationwide movement to combat the recent economic struggles in our country.

We’ll explore programs and initiatives in the ecosystem while also getting a local’s experience of the food, culture, and hot spots. While each summit is unique in terms of agenda, they all have three fundamental goals:
Help Ecosystem Builders connect with key peers and resources
Improve Ecosystem Builders' knowledge and best practices
Help Ecosystem Builders develop mission-critical skills
